REGGIE MCGILL

As a high school football player, Reggie made every honors team an athlete can make. He was a Parade All American, had his jersey retired, and then went on to play college football at the University of Arizona. Reggie was the starting running back all four years at U of A. During this time, Reggie realized his passion was to follow in his father’s footsteps and get into the education field. He majored in Exercise Sports Science because he loved P.E. and coaching others. Following college, Reggie spent the next three years trying to find a home in the NFL. After not landing on a team full-time he realized that it was time to figure out his next move. He decided to become certified High School P.E. teacher. While teaching, Reggie continued his education, receiving his Master’s degree in Secondary Education. In 1997, he opened Extreme Speed Training. Reggie’s goal with Extreme Speed Training was to help young athletes become successful in their sport of choice through athletic development. Training young athletes has become a passion of his and over the past 15 years, Reggie has trained close to one hundred male and female athletes who earned college athletic scholarships. Reggie realizes the gift of giving back to young student athletes. Reggie believes all the great tools he has acquired through training, education, and sports, are best shared with youth who are looking to achieve similar successes as his own.
